General English:
      
This General English Course This General English course aims to improve your overall competence in all aspects of English. It is divided into two parts, the first two hours of each day is a core language course which provides a graded introduction to grammar and vocabulary set in contexts. The second half of the course provides practice in the four main skills of the language: reading, writing, speaking (which includes pronunciation) and listening with English for special and Academic purposes (this may be business / medical / legal etc. or exam preparation depending on the interests of the class) on Fridays. The topics covered in this section are based on the students’ areas of interest.

The afternoon General English course follows the same structure as the morning classes.
      
LESSONS:20 General English Lessons per week (50 Minutes per lesson)

At Annalivia we believe that learning English should also happen outside the classroom and so we have arranged for 2 social activities per week. This is a free addition to the course.
      
      
Annalivia Cultural Experience
Make the most of your time in Ireland by not only improving your English in class but while experiencing the wealth of culture Dublin has to offer!

Our Cultural Programme will help you do just that! Running alongside your General English course in the mornings, this new course aims to put your English to use in the ‘real’ world by immersing you in the incredible culture Ireland has to offer. With 2 guided cultural trips per week you will also have classroom time with a teacher who will help you to prepare a piece of written work about their trips. The best written work will be displayed in the school, for all to see!

Each week runs along a certain theme. For example: Irish Literature, Irish Sports, Irish History etc.

Typical Week:
Monday, 2pm: Introductory class
Tuesday and Wednesday 2 – 5pm: Trips
Friday 1pm: Feedback and reports

Please note that fees include the following:

Intensive English Course
Students following this course will follow the General English in the morning and also attend 10 extra classes per week, in the afternoon, of conversational English.

PLEASE NOTE: STUDENTS MUST HAVE AT LEAST AN INTERMEDIATE LEVEL OF ENGLISH TO JOIN THIS COURSE.

Executive Courses:
These special courses are all 1:1. Special arrangement can be made for semi-private classes (1:2) if two students arrive together with similar specific needs.

They are specifically tailored to the needs of the student and can include Business English, English for Special Purposes (Medical, Legal, Construction, etc.) or preparation of a specific type of conference, meeting or presentation. A study plan will be drawn up by the school based on the students' needs and an initial assessment which will plot a path to realising their objectives in the time they have available.

1 Year Academic Programme
Students follow a General English course for 25 weeks, 3 hours per day, Monday to Friday. At the end of the 25 weeks students must sit an official examination to complete the course. Classes are run in the afternoons at all levels from Elementary to Advanced.
This new programme allows non-EU students to study and work in Ireland for up to 1 year subject to visa approval.

Part Time General English Course
The school provides skills based classes for students who are working in Ireland as au pairs. These are scheduled at times when children are usually at school and are two hour classes which can be taken between one and five days a week. Each day is devoted to a different skill reading, writing, speaking (which includes pronunciation) and listening with English for special.

CLASS 1:09.00 - 11.00, 2 HOURS -> € 17 PER CLASS
CLASS 2:11.30 - 13.00, 1.5 HOURS -> € 13 PER CLASS
